*taupe, yellow & leopard for a sunday brunch*

picture heavy post with a lot of itsy bitsy outfit details…so let’s begin, shall we? first of all, this dress, can i just gush? i got it at the last clothing swap i attended…very small & very intimate. the pleating detail on the neckline & sleeves is just divine. plus the dress is heavy, so drapey, warm & cozy! kind of perfect for a warm(ish) day & braving the boston weather with bare legs :) PLUS IT HAS POCKETS!!! what girl doesn’t love a dress with pockets?

this little crossbody yellow purse i also got at the same swap. it’s teeny tiny! i can literally fit only a few bills, some plastic & maybe a mini lipstick. i can’t even squish my phone in it! upon examining it, i found the quality & construction of the leather quite remarkable, especially for a swap item, so i googled the brand which you might have seen on twitter. turns out, it seems to be a quality belgian brand (on par with hermes) & tiny wallets can go for over $400 while regular handbags can retail for $3000-4000! pretty amazing swap find, huh?

this leopard coat i’ve had forever…like literally. it’s from forever 21! hahaha…get it? like how i did that? again, on this warmer day in boston, i can get away with wearing 3/4-length sleeves.

finally, these shoes i was amazed at the resemblance to the fendi shoes spring 2013, one of my favorite accessories lines of late…more in the color combo & the textured heel. i’m sure i couldn’t afford the fendi shoes even if were available now, so this cute ankle strapped version suits me just fine!
wearing: bcbg taupe dress (via swap) || delvaux crossbody purse (via swap) || F21 leopard coat || lela rose for payless mustard/taupe heels

whew! that’s a lot of of outfit for a simple sunday brunch, but it was for my birthday blogger buddy, najeema, so totally worth it!
