so, i’ve been doing something i haven’t done in years & i’m *kinda* starting to have second thoughts.  i’ve been messing with my hair again.  not good.  i’ve had everything from my natural jet black to j. lo blonde hair.  a year ago, i pretty much went dark so my hair would require less maintenance.  that got a little boring however.  so, it started.  first i did my own hair color, testing out esalon.  i was gonna write a whole review post, but there was really nothing to it.  i liked the customized color & it was as easy to apply as any drugstore brand.  my roots were done & blended in quite nicely.  then the bangs came.  now, i decided i wanted to lighten up my hair again…which i always tend to feel once spring is right around the corner.  i went to a regular salon to do that as i wouldn’t try to bleach my own hair myself.  even then, i went with the intention of having more of that ombre lightening effect.  i decided to keep it just to phase I for right now with my hair back to a light caramel coppery color & lighten the ends later on…just to give my poor hair a break from all this constant processing.  even though my hair is coarse & fairly strong, don’t want to abuse it *too* much…still gotta keep it healthy, ya know? so, hopefully this will be enough goofing around with my hair for now (& maybe a lot more hat wearing…hahaha!) & we’ll see what i end up with eventually :)
